He made his acting debut from movie Paruthiveeran in 2005. After that he received many many acting offers. Karthi refuse the offer of acting and worked as an assistant director in “Aayutha Ezhuthu” but also seen in guest role.
but due to some reason this role was played by Siddharth. After meeting Mani Ratnam offer a role as a Arjun in movie “Aayutha Ezhuthu”. After returning he met to popular director Mani Ratnam. At that time he got a scholarship for his higher studies of master degree. After gaining B.tech degree he used to work as a Engineering consultant in Chennai and earns about 5000 Rs. His father wanted that he must take good education even he wants to go in film industry. He wanted to be part of films since his childhood but along with this also he didn’t know what he actually wants. He did his bachelors degree (B.tech) from Crescent Engineering College, Chennai in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
He owns a master degree in Industrial Engineering. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Chennai. He did his Schooling from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan and St. Karthi was born and spent his childhood in Chennai, Tamil nadu. Currently he is 43 years old (As of 2021).
